It has been about 6 weeks since we moved into our new studio in Frogtown! So far, we are really enjoying the change of scenery. Bike rides and walks along the river and a smaller warehouse that's easier to maintain have brought us a sense of peace that we didn't know we needed! While the summers in LA are hot, we are all enjoying the extra light and its impact on our daily rhythms. Spending more time outside has been good for our spirits.
We're still hanging up paintings and working on finishing touches to make the new space ours, but in the meantime, we want to take a beat and acknowledge all that it took to get here.
To celebrate the current moment, we've released a new print by James called Light Like Honey, inspired by the thick, syrupy way light coats everything it touches during the golden hour of a summer's day. This is the first print edition from our new location, signalling the beginning of many more heartfelt creations to come, including a physical retail space currently on the way!
