Eihwaz
Pronunciation: eeh-waz
Eihwaz gets its name from the Yew Tree, a symbol of regeneration and the endless cycle of life and death. Yew Trees can live for a thousand years and when they begin to die, the daughters of the tree are reborn from within. Yew trees are also commonly found in cemeteries in Europe as they represent the cycle of life and death. Yew trees are toxic to humans and many animals.
