Flowers for (you)

This week we have a new timed edition print dropping in the shop. This is a pretty cool one and has a unique customizable option - each print will be hand titled and made out to the collector - i.e. Flowers For Jason, Flowers for Grace etc. 

"Flowers for You" is a twelve color screenprint on 20" x 28" archival Coventry Rag paper. Prints are hand signed and numbered in a limited edition. The edition size is determined after the sales period ends. If you would like the print made out to someone else other than who is ordering please leave a note with your order.

Because this is a timed edition and it will be printed after the sales period please allow 3 - 4 weeks for printing & shipping. 

Process: "Flowers for You" was originally created as a gouache painting on panel, it was then photographed and separated in to twelve layers based on color. Each layer was then prepared for screenprinting. The print begins with a CMYK halftone base which creates the watercolor-like background and is then followed by nine layers of spot colors built up on top of each other giving it the appearance of a painting on paper.
