MIRRA VISIONS: LENTICULAR TAROT & ORACLE - Counterfeit Update - September 2025
Lately, there has been a surge of scam websites misleading people into purchasing counterfeits of Mirra Visions. While we empathize with those customers who have fallen victim to the scam, we are unable to assist with any orders that were not placed through our store. Everything we sell on our website is self-published, designed by James R. Eads, and fulfilled by our independent, artist-run brand; we do everything ourselves because we take quality and intention very seriously, especially when it comes to making divination tools. We refuse to compromise on our values, including our firm opposition to AI and other shortcuts often taken as a means to profit in our late-stage capitalist economy. With that in mind, it is especially devastating to be so harmed by the counterfeit market, which takes advantage of unassuming customers and tarnishes the reputation we have worked so hard to build over the last decade. Our work continues to be illegally infringed upon by the counterfeit market again and again despite our best efforts to combat illegitimate listings. We have spent considerable resources on hiring a brand protection agency and lawyers, yet the issue persists. This is spiritually and financially taxing on us, a small business that would much rather spend our energy creating more meaningful curios for our community. Please support our efforts by not being tempted by illegitimate listings and doing your research before you buy.
How to spot a fake Mirra Visions deck.
It can be very difficult to decipher a fake listing from a legitimate one as the fake listings often use imagery from our website and social media accounts. Counterfeit sellers broadcast our original video content on Facebook and Instagram to advertise what appears to be the authentic deck, but linking to a fake deck at over half off our price.
Mirra Visions Knock-offs are usually missing cards, include an incomplete, stapled booklet, come in a weak, black and white box that is often crushed in transit, are very tiny, include a copy of our card instructing users to remove the protective plastic film but do not actually come with any protective film, and are not actually lenticular, meaning that each card does not shift effortlessly between two images. Instead, the cards are a still image, printed from a low-quality scan of one of our decks. They look nothing like the deck they claim to sell. The last obvious giveaway is the price; Mirra Visions knock-offs are usually advertised at 50% off or under $25. They are able to offer it at such a low price because the quality is so poor.

Unfortunately, over the years, many counterfeit decks of Prisma Visions, Light Visions, Green Glyphs and even our newest deck, Cosma Visions, have been created. We try to do our best to get these taken down when we see them, but once we get one taken down another pops up.
Sites like Wish, eBay, Shopee, Alibaba and Amazon have many illegally produced decks available. Counterfeit decks are marked extremely low. If you find a Visions deck (Prisma, Light or Cosma) for less than $50 USD, or a Green Glyphs deck for less than $35 USD, know that it is a counterfeit. We require all of our retailers to adhere to our pricing. We can't stop you from purchasing these, unfortunately, but do urge you to support us as we are a small art studio. Each counterfeit deck sold is a little blow to the soul, so please think twice before ordering one!
There are a few things to look out for when looking for a counterfeit deck:
- The packaging: Counterfeits do not come in a sturdy flip-top box.
The deck will usually come in a different box, most likely a cheaper tuck box that you would often find with standard playing cards. Our boxes for Tarot and Oracle decks are sturdy clamshell boxes with a flip top lid. Our Green Glyphs Lenormand deck, comes in magnetic flip-top box.
- The price: All of our approved retailers sell our Tarot and Oracle decks at $45 USD and our Green Glyphs Lenormand deck at $30 USD
If you buy a deck for less than the prices listed on our site, know that there is a good chance it is not legitimate.
-The guidebook: Counterfeit decks do not include a physical guidebook.
If there is a QR code on the box that the merchant says you can use to download a manual this is incorrect. We do not have a downloadable PDF and there is no QR code on our box.
- The size of the cards: Visions counterfeits are often significantly smaller in size.
Our Tarot and Oracle cards are approximately 70mm x 120mm (2.75" x 4.75") and only come in this one size and have never been reprinted in a different size. Counterfeits are often significantly smaller in size.
