Caught in mid-air, two warring eagles fight over a place on the cliff's edge. During the tussle, the mother eagle carelessly knocks her own egg out of the nest and sends it plunging down the cliffside. On this cold, windy night, winning the battle is the only chance of survival, unless, of course, one chooses to look for another place to perch.

The brawling birds are too caught up in victory to notice their surroundings. The one defending its own nest is losing the fight and knocking its future fledgling out of existence.
